PM visits Vietnam embassy, expatriates in Japan

Upon his arrival in Tokyo on June 4, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse visited the Vietnam Embassy and talked with the Vietnamese community in Japan.

Tokyo (VNA) – Upon his arrival in Tokyo onJune 4, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse visited the VietnamEmbassy and talked with the Vietnamese community in Japan.

He spoke highly of sound performance andcontributions the embassy has made in boosting Vietnam – Japan intensive strategicpartnership across multiple fields.

He said the embassy has well prepared theschedule of his current visit to Japan and participation in the 23rdInternational Conference on the Future of Asia.

The PM said cooperation potential between thetwo countries remain extensive based on mutual trust and their respectivestrengths that could supplement each other.

He asked the embassy and Vietnamese expats topromote bilateral cooperation programmes in all fields.

PM Phuc recommended the embassy to implement theprotection of Vietnamese nationals in Japan and support the expatriates intheir living and studying.-VNA
