PM praises ambassadors’ role in bridging countries

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told the new Russian and Panamanian ambassadors that they are an important bridge between Vietnam and their countries.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told thenew Russian and Panamanian ambassadors that they are an importantbridge between Vietnam and their countries.

He also pledged to provide the ambassadors with the best conditions tohelp them work successfully during their working terms and contributeto furthering the friendship between their countries and Vietnam .

Russian Ambassador Kovtun Andrey Grigorievich and Panamanian AmbassadorEduardo Antonio Young Virzi paid visits to PM Dung on November 10.

PM Dung confirmed that Vietnam always places importance to boosting itstraditional friendship and new strategic partnership with Russia .

The Vietnamese Government and people will work hard to deepen theVietnam-Russia strategic partnership in all areas for the practicalbenefit of both countries, he told the Russian ambassador.

With the Panamanian diplomat, PM Dung said Vietnam wants to expand itscooperation in maritime affairs, trade and agriculture with Panama .

To make bilateral cooperation more practical, the Vietnamese leadersuggested that the new ambassadors cooperate with relevant Vietnameseministries and agencies to carry out signed cooperation agreementseffectively.

The Russian and Panama diplomats said they felt honour to be given apost in Vietnam and affirmed to do their utmost to enhance theircountries’ ties with Vietnam./.
