Both PM Dung and Ban Ki-moon expressed their pleasure with the fine development of the Vietnam-UN relations.

TheVietnamese leader affirmed that the country will continue raising itssense of initiative and further contribute to realising the UN’smillennium development goals and the reform of the largest internationalorganisation.

He also stated that Vietnam willmake every effort in accomplishing its role as a member of the UN HumanRights Council in the 2014-2016 tenure.

For his part, Ban Ki-moon spoke highly of Vietnam’s endeavours and contributions to the UN’s common issues.

Inhis meeting with PM Dung, French President Francois Hollande stressedthat Vietnam and France have many similarities in culture.

Thetwo leaders agreed to boost their strategic partnership, to competespecific plans so the 2014 Vietnam Year in France will be heldsuccessfully.

On the occasion, PM Dung invited Ban Ki-moon and Francois Hollande to visit Vietnam in the coming time.-VNA
