Welcoming Huawei’s expansion of operation in Vietnam, the PMsaid that he hopes Huawei will strengthen partnership with Vietnamese firms in onlineinformation security.
He affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will alwayscreate the best possible conditions for the cooperation.
The Government leader agreed with Sun’s proposal in givingmore attention to the development of products serving the protection of onlineinformation.
Highlighting that the Vietnam-China relationship is growing acrosssocio-economic fields, PM Phuc noted that two-way trade has exceeded 100billion USD, which is a favourable condition for businesses of both sides tofoster partnership.
For her part, Sun expressed her impression at the VietnamesePM’s attention to the promotion of affiliation between Vietnamese businessesand foreign partners, including Huawei Group.
According to the executive, Huawei, as one of world leadingICT solution providers with revenue of 75.1 billion USD in 2016, is willing toshare its experience with Vietnam in IT development.
Sun lauded Vietnam’s strategy for IT growth and noted herhope to contribute more to IT and telecommunication area in the country.
She added that the group is also keen on infrastructuredevelopment and products for information safety in Vietnam.
Huawei plans to hold training courses in ICT advances forVietnamese students and ICT officials, which include courses in cyber security,with a total investment of 250,000 USD per year, according to Sun.
The group will also launch a 300,000 USD programmes tonurture telecommunications talents in Vietnam, while continue providing computersand ICT devices to schools in remote areas with an investment of 100,000 USD peryear, she added.
Huawei invested 9.2 billion USD each year for research anddevelopment activities, she said, adding that Huawer has 180,000 employees inthe world who are serving one third of the world population in the field of IT.-VNA
