The southern province of Dong Nai has finished siteclearance on 364.21ha of land, on which two resettlement areas for residentsdisplaced by the project will be built. It still faces difficulties in siteclearance on the 5,000ha of land zoned for airport construction.

In particular, it must manage to disburse 18trillion VND to prepare the ground for the airport’s construction - a hugechallenge the province must exert every effort to overcome, he said.

The Government leader also told ministries andsectors to assist Dong Nai in implementing the project so that construction canbegin this year, adding that site clearance must be completed by October./.
