Launched on September 8 by the Vietnam ArtisticPhotographers' Association (VAPA) and the Arts and LiteratureAssociation of Quang Ninh, the contest forms part of the event series tomark the 20th anniversary of Ha Long Bay’s recognition as a UNESCOWorld Heritage site (December 1994).
Entries are to reflect the vivid beauty and diversity of culture, landscapes and tourism opportunities in Ha Long Bay.
The winning photographs will be displayed and used in printed materials during the anniversary ceremony.
The award ceremony and photo exhibition will take place at the museum of Quang Ninh province on October 14.
Entries should be submitted to the Vietnam Artistic Photographers'Association or the Arts and Literature Association of Quang Ninh byOctober 1.-VNA
