President of theassociation Fe Perez-Agudo said the improving economy will continueaccelerating the growth of the Philippines’ auto industry, noting thatin March alone, the sales of imported vehicles in the country was nearly3,200 units, 19 percent higher than the figure recorded in February.
In 2013, the Philippine economy grew 7.2 percent, second only to Chinain Asia, and Agudo said the rate is sustainable and suitable to thetarget of 6.5-7.5 percent set by the government for this year.-VNA
