Hanoi (VNA) - Retail petrol prices were adjustedupwards on May 13 in the latest review by the Ministry of Industry and Trade andthe Ministry of Finance after being cut eight times in succession this year.
From 3pm on May 13 the price of E5 RON92 biofuel rose 578VND to a maximum of 11,520 VND (0.49 USD) per litre and RON95-III by 604 VND to12,235 VND per litre.
Prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene, meanwhile, arenow 9,857 VND and 7,882 VND per litre, down 84 VND and 83 VND per litre,respectively.
Mazut 180CST 3.5S is now selling for 8,545 VND per kg,down 125 VND per kg.
The adjustments aim to ease the impact of the COVID-19pandemic on daily life, production, and business.
The two ministries review fuel prices every 15 days andmake adjustments in accordance with fluctuations in the global market./.
