Retail petrol prices were cut for the first time in 2015, decreasing by310 VND per litre from 16:30 of January 6, according to the VietnamNational Petroleum Group (Petrolimex).
After the reduction, petrol RON95 is charged 18,170 VND (0.85 USD) perlitre, while petrol RON92 and bio-fuel E5, a mixture of 95 percentpetrol and 5 percent ethanol, cost 17,570 VND a litre.
Meanwhile, a litre of diesel and kerosene were cut by 360 VND and 290 VND to 16,630 VND and 17,110 VND, respectively.
