Tay Ninh (VNA) – Head of the PartyCentral Committee’s Commission for Information and Education NguyenTrong Nghia met voters in the southern province of Tay Ninh on October 8, aheadof the second session of the 15th National Assembly.
Voters said amid thespread of the pandemic, localities remain passive while the implementation ofCOVID-19 prevention and control guidelines is asynchronous.
They suggestedenhancing campaigns to raise public awareness of the danger of the pandemic,and pooling the involvement of various sectors in the supply of vaccines to residents.
According to them,unemployment is partly a result of the shortage of vaccines as firms onlyemploy fully vaccinated workers.
Nghia, for his part,said suggestions at the event will be sent to departments and agencies.
He said the countryis shifting to new normal, adapting to the pandemic safety, restoringproduction, and leaving no one behind.
He added that inseveral northern provinces, delegations of war veterans, women and youths havebecome a crucial force that came to each house to remind residents to follow pandemicprevention and control regulations./.
