Chinh, who is also Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan FriendshipParliamentarians’ Group, said the visit is of significance to strengthening thetraditional friendship between the two Parties, contributing to enriching theVietnam-Japan extensive strategic partnership.
According to him, traditional ties between the CPV and CPJ havebeen further deepened in the new situation via the regular exchange of visitsand cooperation at multilateral forums.
He expressed his belief that the CPJ will continuesupporting exchange between the two legislatures, thereby making contributionsto the development of bilateral links.
Kazuo believed that under the leadership of the CPV, theVietnamese people will continue reaping greater achievements in the renewalprocess and successfully realise the 12th National Party Congress’ resolutiontowards turning Vietnam into a modern-oriented industrialised nation.
Expressing his delight at the growing ties between the two partiesover the past five decades, the guest affirmed that the CPJ highly values thedevelopment of ties between the two nations and people via information andideological sharing for the sake of peace and stability in Asia and the world.
Earlier, head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission forExternal Relations Hoang Binh Quan also hosted a reception for Kazuo.
Both sides spoke highly of the close and effectivecooperation between the Commission for External Relations and the CPJ’s Departmentof International Affairs and agreed to increase exchanges, maintain an ideology-sharingmechanism, work closely together at international forums, an make active contributionsto communist and international labour movements. –VNA
