Party chief’s book on socialism makes debut

The Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, in collaboration with its Theoretical Council and the National Political Publishing House, held a ceremony on February 9 to make debut a book named “Several theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path toward socialism in Vietnam” by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Party Central Committee’s Commission forInformation and Education, in collaboration with its Theoretical Council andthe National Political Publishing House, held a ceremony on February 9 to makedebut a book named “Several theoretical and practical issues on socialism andthe path toward socialism in Vietnam” by Party General Secretary Nguyen PhuTrong.

Speaking at the event, President of the Ho Chi Minh NationalAcademy of Politics (HCMA) and Chairman of the Central Theoretical CouncilNguyen Xuan Thang said that the book selects 29 articles and speeches by Trong sincethe preparation of documents of the 13th National Party Congress.

The general content of those articles and speeches is a dialectical analysis and thoroughexplanation for big questions about socialism and the path to socialism inVietnam of the Party leader.

The articles help clarify the essence and core values ofsocialism in the spheres of politics, economics, the building of the Party and thepolitical system, socio-culture, defence, security and external with simpleexpressions which are easy to understand for all classes of people.

The book aims to serve theoretical studies, and raise publicawareness of socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam among officials, Party members and people, thus creating aconsensus in thinking in entire society.

Along with the printed version, the National PoliticalPublishing House introduced an electronic version of this book onStbook.vn and Thuviencoso.vn./.
