Minister of Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces Leopoldo Cintra Friasreiterated strong will to further strengthen the fraternal friendshipand cooperation with the Vietnamese Party, State and people as he metParty General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Hanoi on December 22.

The Party chief affirmed theVietnamese Party and people’s support to Cuba’s revolutionary cause. Hecongratulated the Cuban Party, State and people on their tireless fightover the past 50 years, which has led to the normalisation of ties withthe US.
Vietnam and Cuba share a special and loyal relationship, which is a precious and admirable asset, he said.
Onthe occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army andthe 58th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Cuban Revolutionary ArmedForces, the host expressed his wish that both sides will deserve thetrust of the two Parties and peoples.-VNA
