Inthe morning, the committee discussed in groups a report reviewing theleadership and direction by the Politburo and the Secretariat for 2014.

Later in early afternoon, they held a question-and-answer session.

Politburomember Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party CentralCommittee and head of the Central Committee’s Commission forPopularisation and Education, delivered a report on the Politburo’sfeedback on a draft political report of the Central Committee (11thtenure) which is due to be submitted to the 12th National PartyCongress.

Politburo member and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dungdelivered a report on the Politburo’s feedback on a draft reportassessing the 2011-2015 socio-economic performance and orientations forthe 2016-2020 period which is to be submitted to the 12th National PartyCongress.

Politburo member To Huy Rua, who is also Secretary ofthe Party Central Committee and head of the Central Committee’sOrganisation Commission, presented a report on the Politburo’s feedbackon a draft report reviewing the implementation of the Party regulations(11th tenure).

Participants voted to adopt the Resolution of the 10th meeting.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong made a closing speech at the end of the event.-VNA
