Secretary of the Central Committee of the Palestinian NationalLiberation Movement (Fatah), Jibril Rajoub, has promised to do hisutmost to boost Palestine’s friendship and cooperation with theVietnamese Party, State and people.
He made this promisein a meeting with Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission forExternal Relations Hoang Binh Quan in Hanoi on November 10, saying thatPalestine highly valued the lessons of the Vietnamese revolution and theleadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Quan saidVietnam backed the Palestinian people in their fight for justice inpursuit of basic national rights, the right to self-determination andthe right to establish an independent Palestinian State.
The country is keen to increase the solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, States and peoples, he said.
Duringearlier talks, Rajoub and Deputy Head of the commission Tran Dac Loidiscussed measures to expand the friendly cooperation between the twoParties and countries.-VNA
