Over 90 taxation procedures made available on national public service portal

Hanoi (VNA) – The General Department of Taxation said on May 7 that it hascompleted the work to offer 93 taxation procedures on the national publicservice portal.

The procedures include tax declaration, tax payment, automobile registrationfee payment, and applications for extension of tax and land lease payment,among others.

The general departmentwill continue to make more public services in the field available on theportal, with the goal of offering 100 percent of its public services online.

It will also pushforward with the online payment of fees, tax, fines and other financialobligations during the handling of administrative procedures and publicservices on the portal.

As of May 6, taxationagencies nationwide had received 85,190 applications for extending deadline forpaying tax and land lease involving more than 25.8 trillion VND (1.1 billionUSD), which were filed in person, by post or online.

The offering of tax procedures on the national public service portal is in linewith Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on urgent measures for COVID-19prevention and control and Decision 683/QD-BTC of the Minister of Finance onthe list of online public services provided by the Finance Ministry on theportal in 2020./.
