The State Treasury mobilised a total of 8.523 trillion VND (392 millionUSD) from Government bonds on the primary market in April, reported theHanoi Stock Exchange.
The volume of bondsdecreased by 50.9 percent from March and the interest rates of bonds infive-, 10- and 15-year terms ranged from 5.35-7.42 percent, down atleast 0.17 percent from the previous month.
Onthe secondary market, the total transaction volume reached more than 482million bonds, or 51.1 trillion VND (2.36 million USD), by implementingthe normal method.
The trading value hit 27.9 trillion VND (1.3 million USD) from repurchase agreements.
In the month, foreign investors bought 4.8 trillion VND (222,000 USD)worth of stocks. They also sold stocks worth more than 7.5 trillion VND(347,000 USD).-VNA
