Duringthe month, the centre introduced a number of new tourism services,providing visitors’ the chance to enjoy royal court cuisine and artperformances, along with traditional promotional measures such asdiscounts for entrance tickets and electric bus trips, and a groupdiscount for more than 10 visitors.
As a result, the centregenerated 6.26 trillion VND in revenue during the special promotionmonth, up by 8.32 percent compared to the same period last year.
The centre is preparing to launch a similar promotional progamme from December 24-30 to attract more visitors.
Inaddition, Thua Thien-Hue province will step up its tourism promotionmeasures and host famtrips from Japan, the Republic of Korea andThailand to explore Hue’s ancient imperial city and the centralprovinces. It will organise roadshows in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and thecentral region with the aim of attracting more visitors from theselocalities.
The Hue Relic Conservation Centrehas welcomed nearly 1.6 million visitors so far this year, includingmore than 678,000 international tourists, earning 110.93 billion VNDfrom selling entrance tickets to the city’s historical sites.
TheHue Relic Site was recognised by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage in1993, and Hue Royal Court Music was recognised as an IntangibleCultural Heritage of Humanity in 2003.-VNA
