Hanoi (VNA) – A new imported case of COVID-19 was detected during the past12 hours, taking the national tally to 1,141 as of 6pm on October 20, accordingto the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
The newpatient is an Indian citizen, who is the wife of Patient 1125. She arrived fromIndia on flight 6E9471 which landed in Tan Son Nhat airport on October 6. Shewas found positive to SARS-CoV-2 in her second test while in quarantine.

The number ofrecovered patients has reached 1,046. The death toll remains at 35.
Amongpatients still under treatment, 10 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once,three negative twice and three negative thrice.
