One more Thai military plane crashes

At least three army servicemen were killed and another injured when a military plane crashed in Phetchaburi's Kaeng Krachan district, southwestern Bangkok of Thailand on July 24.
At least three army servicemen were killed and another injured when amilitary plane crashed in Phetchaburi's Kaeng Krachan district,southwestern Bangkok of Thailand on July 24.

The accident was thethird Thai army helicopter to have crashed within the past eightdays. The first helicopter, a Huey, crashed on July 16, in the KaengKrachan National Park, killing all five soldiers on board. Thesecond, a Black Hawk, crashed insider Myanmar near the KaengKrachan National Park on July 19 with nine victims.

According to Thai armyspokesman Col Sansern Kaewkamnerd, the Thai army Bell 212 helicopterfrom an air base in Lop Buri province was on a mission to search forbodies of the victims of the Black Hawk./.

Indonesia begins major oil, gas exploration in Sulawesi

Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina, along with foreign partners Sinopec from China and Kuwait’s Kufpec, has signed a contract to explore the Melati oil and gas block, located off the coast of Sulawesi. The block is estimated to contain trillions of cubic feet of gas reserves.
