This year’s action month will focus on raisingpublic awareness of and attracting social resources to care for theelderly in especially disadvantageous circumstances.
The VAE chapters will raise public funding to improve lives ofdisadvantaged older people in ethnic, border and island areas.
As a joint effort with the health sector and other agencies, freehealth check-ups and cultural-and sport events will also be madeavailable.-VNA
