No Vietnamese victim found in Russia’s shopping mall fire

There has been not any information about Vietnamese victims in a fire ravaging a shopping mall in the Russian city of Kemerovo on March 25, said the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia.

Hanoi (VNA) – There has been not any informationabout Vietnamese victims in a fire ravaging a shopping mall in the Russian cityof Kemerovo on March 25, said the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia.

As directed by the Foreign Ministry, Vietnam’s representativeagencies in Russia contacted the host authorities to seek information.

As of March 26 evening, nearly 64 people were confirmeddead, 15 of them have been identified.

Russian agencies are checking identities of the dead, accordingto the embassy.

The Foreign Ministry asked Vietnam’s representative agenciesto keep close track of the situation, connect with agencies concerned to updateinformation and provide protection measures if any Vietnamese is affected.-VNA
