There are about 10,000 Vietnamesenationals residing in the European country, mainly in the major citiesof Kharkov, Odessa, Kiev, Donetsk and Kherson, according to theministry.
When the violence escalated, the foreign ministryasked the Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine to inform Vietnamesecommunities of unsecure places to avoid.
