Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has no new case of COVID-19 to report on May 20afternoon, which means the country has gone through 34 straight days without any communitytransmission as of 6pm on the day.
According to the National Steering Committeefor COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the national COVID-19 tally now stands at 324, with 264 having recovered.
Among the total, 184 are importedcases and werequarantined upon their arrival in the country.
The British pilot, known as Patient No. 91, who is being treated at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City,currently has no fever but stable pulse and blood pressure, improved lungfunction, and he breathes on a ventilator. He will be transfered Cho Ray Hospital forintensive care.
There are 7,945 peoplekept in quarantine at present, including 331 at hospitals, 5,187 at otherquarantine facilities, and 2,427 at home./.
