Newly established firms surge 14.6 percent

Vietnam totalled over 105,000 nationwide newly established companies in the first ten months of the year, a year-on-year increase of 14.6 percent, according to the Enterprise Development Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam totalled over 105,000 nationwide newlyestablished companies in the first ten months of the year, a year-on-yearincrease of 14.6 percent, according to the Enterprise Development Agency underthe Ministry of Planning and Investment.

The new firms have total registered capital of over 1 quadrillion VND (44billion USD), up 43.8 percent from the same time last year.

The retail and automobile and motorbike maintenance and repair industries sawpool of newly established companies with 37,817 firms, followed by the processingand manufacturing sector with 13,449 firms.

Meanwhile, the real estate sector has the strongest growth in the number of newbusinesses (62.5 percent).-VNA
