DaNang (VNA) - The Royal NewZealand Navy ship, HMNZS TE KAHA carrying 27 officers and 150 sailors on boarddocked in central Da Nang city’s port on April 12, starting its five-dayfriendship visit to Vietnam.
The ship and crew members were welcomed byrepresentatives of the municipal Department of Foreign Service, the MilitaryZone 5, the Naval High Command and relevant agencies, and those from the NewZealand Embassy in Vietnam.
They will also play sports with Vietnamese naval officers and soldiers; takepart in several social activities; andvisit tourism and historical sites in the city.-VNA
