At a working session with Deputy Chair of the London Assembly Jennette Arnold and Deputy Mayor of London Joanne McCartney on May 31, as part of her visit to the UK, the Vietnamese legislator said the trip aims to exchange experience in constructing a rule-of-law State and contribute to boosting the Vietnam-UK strategic partnership.

Phong was briefed on the development of London, especially its urban planning strategy.

Jennette Arnold informed her guest about the successes reaped by Vietnamese in the host city, while Joanne McCartney said the UK and Vietnam should step up their bilateral ties, particularly their cooperation in education.
