NA’s Party committee cast vote of confidence

The National Assembly’s Party committee on December 25 conduct the vote of confidence on its 57 members.

Subject to the vote were Vice NA Chairpersons who are not members ofthe Politburo or the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat; Chairpersonand Vice Chairpersons of the NA’s Ethnic Council, heads and deputy headsof NA committees, and heads of the NA Standing Committee’s institutes.

Vice NA Chairpersons who are members of thePolitburo or the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat will be subjectto vote of confidence conducted by the Party Central Committee.

This is the first time the legislature’s Party committee hasconducted the confidence vote. It then will be implemented regularly inthe third year of the committee’s tenure.

The result of the vote will be announced late on the day.-VNA
