Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam always supports and creates the best possible conditions for German firms in general and those from the State of Hessen in particular to invest and do long-term business in Vietnam , stated N ational Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong.

During her reception for Nicola Beer, General Secretary of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) in Hanoi on December 29, Phong affirmed that Vietnam attaches important to its relations with Germany and speaks highly of the role of Germany in the European Union.

The Vietnam-Germany Strategic Partnership has developed strongly in all fields over the last four years, Phong said.

Hessen state, as the leading economic-financial and education centre in Germany and Europe , plays an important role in promoting the bilateral ties, she stressed.

Praising cooperation between Hessen State and Vietnam in the field of education and training through the Vietnam-Germany University project, Phong suggested the state’s authorities continue their support for Vietnam in the following periods of the project.

Nicola Beerd said during the visit, she made a tour to the Hanoi Law University , and worked with Vietnamese ministries and sectors to discuss models supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

She revealed that her country and Hessen State are very interested in vocational training in Vietnam, affirming that she will work to promote the Vietnam-Germany cooperation in the coming time.-VNA
