He praised the outcomes of thetalks and meetings between the Tanzanian President and Vietnamese Partyand State leaders, which, he said, will open up more cooperationopportunities in accordance with the two peoples’ expectations andaspirations.
Vietnam always treasures itstraditional friendship with Tanzania, he stated, suggesting the twocountries boost collaboration in telecommunications, agriculture,politics, culture and education.
The NA leaderalso took the occasion to invite the Tanzanian NA Speaker to pay anofficial visit to Vietnam and attend the 132 nd Inter-ParliamentaryUnion (IPU) Assembly in 2015.
On his part,Kikwete said his visit’s objective is to deepen the bilateralrelationship, hoping that the two NAs will continue to tighten theircooperation in legislative and supervisory procedures.
He pledged to do his best to boost the traditional friendship between the two peoples.
Later on the same day, the Tanzania President left Hanoi, successfullywrapping up his October 26-28 State visit to Vietnam at the invitationof his Vietnamese counterpart Truong Tan Sang.-VNA
