The 13th National Assembly (NA) continued its plenary session in Hanoion June 11, with ministers engaging in question-and-answer sessions.
Head of the NA’s Ombudsman Committee Nguyen Duc Hiendelivered a report on supervising the settlement of complaints byconstituents that were submitted to the 13th NA’s eighth session.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat answered 36questions regarding the progress of the new rural construction campaignnationwide, linkage between the State, scientists, businesses andfarmers in farm produce sales, sustainable development of industrialplants, incentives to fishermen, among others.
Inthe afternoon, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang gave reply to20 questions involving measures to expand domestic and overseas marketsin anticipation of Trans-Pacific Partnership deal, settle inventory andbring electricity to rural areas, the management and control of fueland power prices to protect consumers’ interest, and promotion of theuse of made-in-Vietnam products.
Duringquestion-and-answer sessions, Finance Minister Dinh Tien Dung andMinister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang alsoclarified relevant matters of concern.
