Prague(VNA) – The visit of Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly Nguyen Thi KimNgan to the Czech Republic is significant to enhancing the two countries’ ties,said Vice President of the board of the Czech Chamber of Commerce BorivojMinar.

Ngan is visitingCzech Republic from April 12 -14 at the invitation of President of the Senateof the Czech Parliament Milan Stech.

Minar lauded thepotential for economic cooperation between the two nations, citing the factsthat Vietnam and the Czech Republic have almost seven decades of diplomaticties and Vietnamese are one of the largest immigrant communities in theEuropean nation. They can help build a bridge between the two countries’enterprises, he added.

He also highlightedthe potential for cooperation in agriculture, transportation and foodprocessing. Czech businesses are known for their advanced technologies, dynamismand flexibility, allowing them to transfer technologies to Vietnamese companiesand provide them with technical training.
