Top bands from six ASEAN countries will bring their best sonic waves tothe ‘Artwork is Work’ ASEAN Music Festival, which will be held inHanoi on May 11.

The event will feature thebands Blood Sugar Politik from Myanmar, Thailand’s MolamInternational, Pulso from the Philippines, Muon from Singapore andat least 18 others from Vietnam, according to phapluattp.vn.

The musicians aim to stun the audience with assorted genres of rock, pop, nu metal and electronic music.

In addition to a non-stop chain of music, the event will include anart installation, a creative arts market and a fair introducing ASEANspecialties.

The festival, co-organised by the USEmbassy in Hanoi and the Club for Art and Music Appreciation inVietnam, aims to boost exchanges among ASEAN artists and promote thecultural vibrancy of the modern ASEAN region.

Ticketscan be obtained on the door at a price of VND300,000 or VND100,000 forthose holding a valid passport from an ASEAN member country.-VNA
