Each ofthe two classrooms consists of 30 sets of computers with sufficientsupport devices. The total facilities are worth more than 500 millionVND (23,800 USD).
The activity was part of a project providingschools with computing facilities, agreed by the Vietnam Union ofFriendship Organisations, SLI and the Global Civic Sharing organisation(GCS) from the Republic of Korea .
Bui Thi Hoa, Director ofthe GCS’ Vietnam-Korea Cooperation Centre, said the project, funded with1.44 million USD by SLI, aims to improve disadvantaged children’saccess to better learning conditions.
In 2013, it presented suchclassrooms to 11 schools in Hanoi. Nine more schools in the capitaland Vinh Phuc and Hai Duong provinces are expected to benefit from theproject this June.-VNA
