MobiFone offers new package to foreign tourists

MobiFone, a subsidiary of Vietnam's largest telecom service provider Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group, has launched a pre-paid Happy Tourist package exclusively designed for foreign visitors to Vietnam.

Subscribers will have two options, including Happy Tourist Data whichsupplies data and SMS services and Happy Tourist Voice & Data thatsupplies calls, SMS and data services with guidelines in English,Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese.

The package includes a SIM card and an account worth 200,000 VND (9.5 USD).

The Happy Tourist Data offers three gigabytes of high-quality 3G dataservices. Subscribers can send intra-network, trans-network andinternational text messages for 290, 350 and 2,500 VND respectively.

Its data service costs 9.77 VND per 50 kilobytes.

Meanwhile, the Happy Tourist Voice & Data will have 1.5 GB of data and 80,000 VND (3.8 USD) available.
Costs for intra-network, trans-network and international calls standat 1,580, 1,780 and 3,960 VND per minute. The respective text messagescost 200, 250 and 2,500 VND.

It offers data priced at 25 VND per 50 kilobytes.-VNA
