Metalex Vietnam 2017 draws over 500 int’l brands

HCM City (VNA) – Theinternational exhibition on machine tools and metalworking solutions forproduction upgrade (Metalex Vietnam 2017) officially kicked off in Ho Chi MinhCity on October 12.

The event drew the participation of morethan 500 brands of 25 countries, including Germany, Turkey, Thailand, Japan andhost Vietnam.

Suttisak Wilanan, Deputy Managing Director of Reed Tradex, the organiser, saidthe event introduces the latest machine tools and metalworking solutions tobusinesses, thus helping them speed up production.

A number of conferences will be organisedin the framework of the exhibition to deliver professional metal processingsolutions and offer chances for firms to expand their business in one of themost dynamic markets in ASEAN.

Speaking at the event, Ureerat Ratanaprukse,Consul General of Thailand to Ho Chi Minh City, said that Metalex Vietnam 2017will contribute to raising the efficiency of manufacturing and support industries,as well as create a platform for science and technology development, innovationand sustainable economy.

The exhibition, which runs until October14, is taking place together with the Vietnam Electronics Assembly 2017 oninternational machinery and technologies for electronic parts and componentsmanufacturing industry and another on support industry products.-VNA
