KualaLumpur (VNA) – Malaysia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced onSeptember 28 that citizens of the country are no longer allowed to visit theDemocratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) until further notice.
Thisdecision was made amid tensions in the Korean peninsula and relateddevelopments arising from the DPRK’s missile tests.
Theministry said the ban will be reviewed when the situation returns to normal.
Malaysia’snational football team is set to play the DPRK’s team in Pyongyang on October 5within the framework of the Asian Cup 2019, and it is unclear if the match willrun as scheduled.-VNA
