Long Thanh airport terminal designs showcased

The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) held an exhibition in Hanoi on November 28 to collect public feedback on terminal designs for Long Thanh International Airport.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Airports Corporationof Vietnam (ACV) held an exhibition in Hanoi on November 28 to collect publicfeedback on terminal designs for Long Thanh International Airport.

Of the nine designs on display,three had been selected by the ACV, with one in the shape of a lotus flowersubmitted by a company from the Republic of Korea.

A design from aVietnam-Japan-Singapore joint venture features palm-leaf details, while theother designed by a Japan-France joint venture uses bamboo furniture.          

The exhibition lasts untilDecember 12.

It will be held in thecentral city of Da Nang from December 16 to 25 and in the southern province ofDong Nai from December 28 to January 11, 2017.

The last destination is HoChi Minh City where the event is scheduled to take place between January 13 and23 next year.-VNA
