A wide range of local staples are being showcased at an One Commune One Product (OCOP) fair which opened on Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street in Hanoi on October 10.

Hanoi (VNA) – A wide range of local staples are being showcased at anOne Commune One Product (OCOP) fair which opened on Trinh Cong Son pedestrianstreet in Hanoi on October 10.

The event was organised by the municipal Department of Agriculture and RuralDevelopment, the Vietnam Farms and Agricultural Enterprises Association (VFAEA)and the People’s Committee of Tay Ho district. It is part of activities to markthe 65th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10), and theVietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13).

On display at over 100 booths are farm produce, handicrafts and street food,including Ca Mau crab, grilled bronze featherback fish, Sa Dec prawn crackers, durian,Buon Me Thuot coffee, Quang Tri natural essential oil, Bo Dau chung cake, ThaiNguyen tea, Tam Dao honey and Hai Phong seafood, among others.

The fair will also feature an exhibition of ornamental trees as well as artperformances.

It will run until October 13./.
