Hanoi (VNA) - President of the VietnamFatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Do Van Chien presented a report onconstituents’ opinions and recommendations sent to the 15th-tenure NationalAssembly (NA)’s sixth session at its opening sitting held in Hanoi on October23.

Voters expressed their delight at the Party’scomprehensive leadership in socio-economic development, defence-security, externalrelations, and Party and political system building. They also took note of the Government’s and the Prime Minister’sefforts in implementing the Party’s and the NA’s conclusions and resolutions,tackling difficulties facing the people and businesses, and pressing ahead with  the administration reform, digital transformation, and public investmentdisbursement, among others.

Expressing strong support for the anti-corruption efforts by the Party andState, they said they are confident in the results of the investigation andprosecution of corruption cases, which have been carried out with no restrictedareas and no exceptions. The results of the corruption fight havesignificantly strengthened the people's trust in the Party and the State.

Voters in many places said they still feel dissatisfied with the state ofenvironmental pollution, food safety issues, and the suspended planning in manyincomplete investment projects, among other concerns.

They expressed their hope that the Party and the State will continue the implementation ofpolicies supporting the production and business activities of enterprises andindividuals, calling for the acceleration of public investment disbursementto boost economic growth and address employment issues, as well as more effective solutions to support the recovery and development of small-and medium-sized businesses.

Many expressed concerns about diseases such as dengue feverand red-eye disease, as well as the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. along their hope that the Party, State, and healthcare sector willcontinue to address current difficulties and shortcomings. They highlighted aneed for comprehensive resolution of the shortage of medical supplies andmedications to meet people’s demand.

The constituents also suggested the Party and the State direct ministries and local authorities to assess the overall risks related tonatural disasters, landslides, fires, explosion, dam safety, traffic safety,and safety during massive events. They requested appropriateproactive solutions for prevention and handling of possible incidents. Moreover,they insisted on the resolute handling of cases of negligence in management andduty execution./.
