Hanoi (VNA) – Deputies of the 15th National Assembly (NA) are scheduled to vote to approve three laws and oneresolution on June 20 as part of their ongoing fifth session.

The three laws are the Law on Cooperatives (revised), theLaw on Civil Defence (revised), and the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights(revised). Meanwhile, the resolution to be adopted is on the investmentpolicy for a project to build a road connecting National 27C to Provincial Road No.656in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa, linking with neighbouring Lam Dongand Ninh Thuan provinces.

They will discuss in group a proposal and a verificationreport on the draft Law on Forces Safeguarding Security and Order at theGrassroots Level.

In the afternoon, the deputies will debate the draft Law onWater Resources (revised).

The bill aims to build a harmonious, coherent andtransparent legal corridor to optimise water resources, properly andeffectively allocating and using the resources, ensuring the national watersecurity, preventing, managing and recovering downgrading, exhausting andpolluted water resources.

The bill will make clear the responsibility in water andwater work management of central and local agencies, thus preventingoverlapping and conflicts. It also clarifies the need to manage water resourcesby digital technologies with a coherent database./.
