Late President’s birth anniversary celebrated in Cuba, Pakistan

VicePresident of Ho Chi Minh City’s Fatherland Front Tran Tan Ngoi, who ison a visit to Cuba, joined local people and representatives of theVietnamese community at the event.

VietnameseAmbassador Duong Minh highlighted the great contributions Ho Chi Minhmade to progressive movements around the world, affirming that histhoughts and values remain as a foundation for Vietnam nationaldevelopment and safeguarding.

Meanwhile, VicePresident of the Cuba-Vietnam Friendship Association recalled thetireless efforts of Vietnam’s first president in the struggle fornational liberation, as well as sharing his experiences as a battlefieldreporter during wartime in Vietnam.

On the sameday, the anniversary was also celebrated by the Vietnamese Embassy inPakistan. Delegates to the event were offered a chance to watchdocumentaries featuring the leader’s revolutionary career and introducedto several of Ho Chi Minh’s written works translated into English.-VNA
