Largest container vessel arrives in Vietnam

The 131,263 DWT Columba CMA CGM which is 363metres in length and has a capacity of 11.388 TEU, is the largest evercontainer vessel to arrive in Vietnam sea port.

As ajoint venture between Denmark’s Maersk A/S, Vietnam Shipping Lines andSai Gon port, the port sits on a site of 48 hectares and is capable ofreceiving containers vessels of up to 160,000 DWT./.
