Lao military officers receive training in Vietnam

A training course on border defence for Lao military officers concluded in the northwestern province of Dien Bien on October 18.

The BorderGuard Command of Dien Bien province, the course’s organizer, presentedgraduation certificate to 55 trainees, who are officers of the MilitaryCommands of Phongsaly and Udomxay provinces of Laos .

The course provided the Lao officers with basic and up-to-date knowledgein border management and defence as well as Vietnam ’s experience indealing with possible problems arising in border areas.-VNA
