Visitors are recommended to purchase package toursoffered by travel companies. They will be allowed to visit entertainment areasand tourist destinations that stay safe from the coronavirus like Rach Gia andHa Tien cities, and Phu Quoc and Kien Hai island districts.
In the second phase, from December 1 to 31, on thebasis of results of the pilot phase and pandemic developments, Kien Giang willwelcome visitors from other localities, especially those with direct flights toPhu Quoc like Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Lam Dong, Da Nang and Hai Phong.
Apart from the above-said tourist destinations,holidaymakers can visit Hon Dat, Kien Luong, Kien Hai and U Minh Thuongdistricts, through package tours or self-guided tours, but must observeCOVID-19 prevention and control measures.
The local tourism sector has encouraged travelagents and other service suppliers in the province to renew their products andservices to attract visitors, while stepping up promotion activities.
Forforeign tourists, Kien Giang will receive a number of charter flights going to itsPhu Quoc island from November 20 to test the process of picking up and servingguests with “vaccine passport”./.
