Key bridge in central region gets final link

The final span of the Cua Nhuong bridge in Ha Tinh province, the longest of its kind in the northern central region, was connected on January 25.
The final span of the Cua Nhuong bridge in Ha Tinh province, the longestof its kind in the northern central region, was connected on January25.

The 1,400m-long and 14m-wide bridge in CamNhuong commune, Cam Xuyen district is an important section of a 110kmcoastal road which links main economic zones in the region, such as theVung Ang economic zone.

Construction of the bridge started inApril 2010 and it is expected to officially open to traffic by May 19 –late President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.

It is built at a capital of 450 billion VND (21.15 million USD).-VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.
