Jetstar Pacific launches new domestic air routes

Low-cost airline Jetstar Pacific on October 27 launched a new route from Chu Lai in the central province of Quang Nam to Buon Ma Thuot in Dak Lak, expecting to boost socio-economic and tourism development in the central and Central Highlands regions.

The service is the newest civil aviation route in the country using the 180-seat Airbus A320 plane. The airline will conduct three roundtrip flights every week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

According to Jetstar Pacific Director Le Hong Ha, nearly 2,000 tickets have been sold for the new route so far.

On October 25, the carrier opened two other routes, connecting Hue and Da Lat with three return flights every week. It also operates one roundtrip flight every day between Ho Chi Minh City and Pleiku.

The airline introduced some promotion programmes, including free return tickets and special discounted fares as low as 450,000 VND ( 20.5 USD) for the three new air routes .

Tickets are available on www.jetstar.com , and through agencies from October 26 to October 28. Online payment is required at the time of purchase to be eligible for promotional fares.-VNA
