It was a positive response to theconclusion made by inspectors from the Civil Aviation Administration ofVietnam (CAAV), criticising the JPA’s violation of maintenanceregulations.
The joint-stock company said getting informed of the CAAV’s preliminaryconclusion, it has instantly taken a series of measures to ensureflight safety and improve the quality of craft maintenance.
JPA added it has rushed in reviewing, scrutinising and evaluating themaintenance work in line with Maintenance Management OrganisationExposition (MMOE) guidelines.
The company has appointed a foreign expert as Deputy Director ofTechnical Quality to help the Vietnamese Technical Director in thetransition period. Additionally, the technical quality department staffhas been strengthened with a number of experienced engineers andforeign experts under the CAAV’s demand.
JPA also committed to fully following recommendations and requirements raised by the CAAV in the inspectors’ conclusion.
“With all measures on flight safety being and will be taken by thecompany and under the tight supervision and regular monitoring by theCAAV, the JPA guarantees high safety for all flights it conducts,” itconcluded./.
