During a working session on March 11, Secretary of the provincialParty Committee Mai Tien Dung introduced sectors with rich foreigninvestment potential, such as the support industry, high-tech industriesand agricultural production.
The locality willoffer a favourable business climate to foreign investors to conductbusiness in the province in terms of human resources, infrastructurefacilities, social order and other services, Dung said.
Head of the delegation Nagakawa spoke highly of the local investmentclimate, especially the implementation of 10 commitments to foreigninvestors.
He also highlighted the Memorandum ofUnderstanding signed between the two localities in 2013 as a solidfoundation for Japanese firms to do business in Ha Nam.
The province is now home to 125 projects funded by investors from 10countries and territories, worth a total of nearly 1.1 billion USD, withnearly 448 million USD coming from Japan.
In2014, Ha Nam granted licences to 32 FDI projects with 302 million USD incapital, making it one of the top ten localities nationwide inattracting foreign investment.-VNA
