They made the call atworking sessions with head of the Party Central Committee’s EconomicCommission Vuong Dinh Hue who is currently on Japan visit fromAugust 5.
He held working sessions with Vice President of theLiberal Democratic Party Masahiko Komura; Chairman of the Lower HouseBudget Committee Toshihiro Nikai; special economic policy advisor toPrime Minister Shinzo Abe Etsuro Honda; chief of the Financial ServicesAgency’s Supervisory Bureau Kiyoshi Hosomizo; Deputy Minister ofEconomy, Trade and Industry Yoshihiko Isozaki; and President of theJapan International Cooperation Agency Akihiko Tanaka, among others.
The Japanese side expressed hope to promote bilateral tie-upsacross agro-forestry-fisheries, automobile manufacturing, finance -banking, industry and trade, possibly via the training of Vietnamesetechnical graduates in Japan and encouragement of Japaneseinvestment outflows.
They called for the realisation of theVietnam – Japan joint statement signed by President Truong Tan Sangand Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and other agreements between relevantagencies.
Hue’s visit, till August 10, is to strengthenVietnam – Japan comprehensive strategic partnership and learn aboutAbenomics economic model, its monetary, fiscal and economic growthpolicy.
During field trips to Kanagawa and Fukuokaprefectures, the Vietnamese delegation toured Nissan Motor, Sumimoto andSozitzu companies.
Kanagawa is among six prefecturesdesignated as a broad strategic special zone, as part of Shinzo Abe'sgrowth strategy designed to invigorate private-sector investment - the"third arrow" of his "Abenomics" policies.
Its economy is now worth over 300 billion USD while Fukuoka generates more than 160 billion USD in annual economic value.-VNA
